The demand for organic food is at an all time high according to Examiner.com . This is great news as we decided to take action and stand up for our rights for no GMOs ingredients in our products!
But what is really in our food??
In this article by Eatlocalgrown we have the wonderful choices of: arsenic glazed chicken, flame retardant drinks and other “tasty” chemicals. “Yummy” right?
So what can we do to stop this?
Firstly, we must educate ourselves and read labels. (For example, Coca-Cola Zero uses aspartame or in the EU it is codified as E951¬. There are many controversies relating to the ingredient. Just to let you know this is the most striking one: the European Ramazzini Foundation of Oncology and Environmental Sciences revealed several studies, which claim that aspartame is a potential carcinogen substance in normal dietary doses. And there is much more to find out about other ingredients!
We should change our lifestyle habits for the organic way. We can do this one step at a time. More about this in our following blog posts!
If we do this we protect our family’s health, our home and our planet- minimizing our impact, but we have to start. This quote from Anita Roddick describes perfectly what we are trying to convey: “If you think you’re too small to have an impact try going to bed with a mosquito in the room”. So let your family know, let your friends know, share this blog post so we can all have a bigger impact.
