We continue to introduce farmers, who are a part of our Familia Organica. This time we visit the farm of Pablo Rosales, farmer from Ecuador.
Pablo is a very dedicated to organic principles person, who is also concerned about recycling waste responsibly. He organized a special recycling unit on his farm, where he separates waste into categories.
Pablo was not willing to pose for pictures, thus, we have only few photos of him.
Pablo's territory includes a vast amount of primary forest, which he cares about and does not touch.
Here what Pablo shared with us about his territory: "Around all our organic crops on plantation, we have a primary forest. This forest has been qualified as primary and has been in our hands already for 27 years. We have not touch it at all… there are 80 hectares of forest where a variety of bird and plant species find home. This forest provides a natural level of humidity, which surrounds our crops and protects from diseases. Forest plays a role of a curtain around the actual farm, which defends organic crops: palm and fruit trees. Having this forest "curtain" around the farm is unique and helpful."
Below you may check a short video, which aims to show you some beautiful views of Pablo's farm and to acquaint you with one of those people, who supply organic red palm oil of high quality on your table.
